Whats the best exhaust option for an A6/L99 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Let me start by saying I'm looking for sound only, I'm not planing on adding headers or anything else. So whats the best option for the AFM drone..A full catback designed for the L99 ( Solo or MBRP ) or an axle back with the stock resonator. I'm not looking for anything too loud, just a little deeper more aggressive sound than the stock exhaust.

I have the Solo Mach XL and very satisfied with the sound and performance. The installation was easy and the quality excellent. I will soon be ready for the Solo HI Flow cats.

i love the Solo and MBRP or the A6 bt to me with the ARH headers they make the MBRP too loud for my taste...bt Stock i would say MBRP

Express96 is asking about DROAN. To answer the question, from what I read here any aftermarket exhaust with the A6 will cause excessive droan unless you tune out the AFM. Tune out the AFM and loose your drive train warranty.

Once u add headers that system will drone..
I havent heard anything that hasnt droned with headers other than stock of magna street system...

I think you will be happy with either corsa, mbrp or solo, as they were all designed with AFM in mind.

I decided on the MBRP system and am really happy with that decision.

Muffler delete is the cheapest option. I wish I would have stopped with that.

Some people leave the rear mufflers stock and do a center resonator delete. I have not heard that combination. It might be worth a try.
