Seat heaters are not coming on with auto start. Yes I set them to turn on through the radio vehicle settings. The actual seat heaters work though but they just aren't coming on with the auto start. Something else I'm suppose to do to have them come on with auto start?

How cold was it outside/where the car is stored? I'm pretty sure the temperature [as sensed by the car] must be below a certain number. I'm away from my car/owner's manual right now or I'd look it up for you.

Ahhh gotcha. It was about 39 I believe. That's strange that it has to be a certain temp for them to come on. Wonder what the point is in that.

does anyone know for sure that if you set your heated seats on at what temp will they go on i look in the manuel and it does not say anything about the temp does anyone have info on this am i doing something wrong i can get them to turn on by them self thanks

Does the radio come on with remote start? If not, the car probably doesn't power up the accessory circuit during remote start, which is likely the circuit that the seat heaters work off of.

why would they put that optoion on the car then.i was told it will kick on if its like 30 degers out side.

I posted in different thread:
The seat heaters come on, but the lights do not turn on when you remote start.
When you turn the key in the ignition the heated seat lights will flash. If you want to continue warming the seats, you have to press the button.

yeah the seats will warm to the lowest setting, but the heated seat lights won't be on. wait until it's real cold outside and try putting your hand on the passenger seat, you will feel that's it's warm. They should have the option to make it warm on high/low settings.

thanks for everyones help on this mine does work the way papa t and big punn said it should but the seats dont get hot like if you push the button on your self. you guys are right there should have bin a setting of low or high. but as long has it works it its what it is thanks again guys

sorry to thread jack, but speaking of heating seats, has anyway had any exp with the aftermarket sets you can buy and install. Are they safe, easy to install? do they really work as well if the car came with them. Thanks

i know my seats work on auto start but sometimes i dont see them blink is becuse its not cold outside or does the car have to be running more then 5 minutes anyone eles
