wax over stripes?
just picked up my white 1ss with black stripes today. im panning on washing it good and giving it a nice coat of NXT tech wax 2.0
do you guys with stripes wax over them? or tape them off and avoid them? |

If they are matte (flat) don't wax them. If they are glossy - wax away my friend.

Tape over them with what kind of tape? would'nt that pull the stripe off?

This is correct....I found out the hard way! If you use NXT you'll have lovely white streaks in a matter of days. I finally got it removed and used turtleway ICE, which worked fine. I've now used Zaino on the stripes and it looks great! Steve |

I have been ussing turtle wax ICE on the flat black stripes and they look awesome, also use it on the flat black paint on my lightning.

I use meguires tech wax 2.0 and if i get it on the black factory stripes it awful

Can you use turtle wax ice on the gloss stripes too?
