its bs, full of bs. The only way your getting 60hp from an chip/programmer is if you have an diesel and im not even positive on that. Do the basics, cai, full exhuast, custome tune, etc.

I know that the V10 Expeditions you could get a huge gain by a chip, I think it was over 100 hp gain. My buddy's Trailblazer SS was the same deal, replace the chip and it was like a 50 hp gain. I'm not saying this one will give you 60 hp in a Camaro but it is the same as getting the car tuned. The only difference is a tune will "reprogram your air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, and other aspects of your vehicle's engine" which is stored in a EPROM. Instead, this is having you replace the actual EPROM.

EPROMs are really cheap, pennies for one. Just being programed creates a markup value, hence the reason why they sell them for more.

I'm not saying this chip will do it or not. What I am saying is getting a tune done to your car is the same thing as having an EPROM that is already programed to what you need and just swapping out the EPROM. If you look at a lot of tuners, mostly in the import world, it is called chipping. Just replacing the EPROM instead of having the car tuned. Buying a Diablosport and using a canned tuned with it is the same thing as this. Just this you are physically replacing the chip that is being programmed by the Disablosport.

I will say that there are a lot of companies out there that do sell crap chips that you don't see any performance gains, or your see hardly nothing in gains. But like I said, it is the same as taking the car in to have it tuned, just this is a canned tune.

Ya, looking at the site it seems like all of them say that up to 60. Maybe 1 of the cars they do give you 60hp, but the Camaro, maybe 3. Some reviews on them aren't very good. There are some that do have pretty good reviews, but for other cars. Actually...I think Diablesport use to sell chips like this awhile back called a Diablo Chip. Might be thinking of someone else though.
