Measure your car's height
I "slammed" my car with Pedders lowering springs last week and I forgot to take a height measurement before the install. Now, I am trying to determine how far it was lowered. Can you please measure the height of your car for me? You need stock wheels and tires to do this.
Certainly, there will be production variances from car-to-car, but I should be able to get a good bench mark average. Please measure from the ground to the lip of the wheel openings (front and rear). Be sure to measure vertically plumb at the wheel center-line. See attached photo. Not sure if it makes a difference, but you should have a SS (6M?). I would prefer a measurement within a 1/16". Thanks again. Alfie

I think I can help you out in that I have a stock LS3 that may be the clone to yours if it is VR with silver stripes like it looks in your signature photos. Mine doesn't say "supercharged" though:(
Front = 29 3/4 inches Rear = 29 1/2 inches What is yours now that it is slammed? (In case I do the same thing). |

Yes...possibly, but I'm bettin' that the fronts come in really close; plus or minus 1/4". Regardless, I should get an average and that'll answer my question.

OK so now I had to go measure again:
Both fronts = 29 3/4 Left rear = 29 1/2 Right rear = 29 3/4 3/4 tank of gas. Alfie, its only fair - I gave you my measurements - what are yours? I'm considering the lowering kit. |

Fronts; Both at 28-3/8" Rears: Both at 28-1/2" (3/4 tank of gas) It looks like I dropped around 1-1/4" to 1-3/8". That's about what is expected. Alfie
