Few quick ordering questions

Can a Buick, GMC, Pontiac dealer order a Camaro from GM?

How do trade-ins work with orders? Give up the car when it's ordered or
when it's delivered? Settle on a price for the trade now or later? Guess
that could get ugly later if anything were to happen to the trade vehicle.
Do you lose any deposit on a car you don't take delivery of after an order?

Is there a fee to transfer a car from one Chevy dealership to another in
the same or an adjacent state? It's trailered for transfer right, not driven?

Thanks in advance!

Settle on a price for the trade now or later? Approximate trade value should be agreed upon at time of ordering.

Guess that could get ugly later if anything were to happen to the trade vehicle. That is true. Furthermore, if you put a significant amount of additional miles on the car, this could affect the value. You need to know that going into it.

Do you lose any deposit on a car you don't take delivery of after an order? This should also be agreed upon in advance. 'Refundable deposit' or 'Non-refundable deposit' This can vary dealer to dealer and even order to order. If you're ordering a top of the line 2SS/RS with every option, inlcuding the high-priced wheels and ground effects, the dealer wouldn't want to be 'stuck' with it should you decide to not take delivery. Get EVERYTHING in writing.

Is there a fee to transfer a car from one Chevy dealership to another in the same or an adjacent state? Typically, there is no fee for your dealer to execute a 'dealer trade'. The would be a fee in a case of a 'drop ship'.

It's trailered for transfer right, not driven? This again depends upon the dealer. Depends on distance. We almost never trailer cars when we dealer trade.

Thanks in advance!
Hope this helps!
