Good deal or not?

Test drove a 2010 black on black 2SS/RS manual with sunroof today. Nice car no doubt. The sticker was just over $37,000. They are offering me $34,999. Plus they are willing to installed the dealer option ground effects package, & even paint them black to match, for the $1,500 deal chevy is offering on all 2010 purchases. I think that's a good deal. But what do you all think???

eh... its a fair deal. I got a 2010 2SS/RS in May 2009 for $32,600 (no sunroof) MSRP was $36,900, plus ttl. I'd expect you can do close to that now with the 2011s on the streets. Plus the GFX deal is only good if you want them. IMO they look so/so. I wouldnt want them.

Whats with the $1500 deal, instead of you getting the $1500 off you are getting the ground effects? Is that 35 out the door?

Georgetown, small town about 1 hour east of cinci. I am very famailiar with Dayton. Springfield. I go to the Kmart cruise in beavercreek sometimes...

and if its $34,999 out the door, its a smokin deal, but I am betting its not. Also, it is new right?

Georgetown, ok. Heard of it, but never been. Beavercreek I go to on almost every visit back home. Nice mall there & I have step grandparents that live there. It is 35 out the door EXCEPT taxes, fees & all that crap.

CamaroScotty, YOU are the one I was hoping would read this thread the most! lol Yeah, no hud. Not a biggie for me personally. It was a later build though. As it has the rear parking sensor. At least that's my understanding.

Resale/ trade value will be a bit lower. But here in CT we pay property tax on motor vehicles. So a little lower on that due to a lower value. Plus insurance may be a few pennies lower too.

I don't think it's a deal of the year. But I do feel it's a good one all things considered. I'm just a bit unsure as I'm just now gathering info on the Camaro market. That's why I'm throwing this question out to the masses.

If its really what you want, and I mean really, then get it. Why loose the car you want over a few bucks. If its not the best deal I'm sure for what we have here in CT its pretty gd. But It is comming into the winter. You could hold out until Dec and see whats around for 2010's. Sorry for just adding to your dilema!
