i went on the build your own car thing at dodge and saw the price

so the question is what would YOU buy? a viper or a vette?

Owned 4 Vettes (3 LPEs)
and
Owned 1 Hennessy Viper RT/10

I miss my Viper but much more of a kit car. The SRT is more solid. I would trade it for SRT Coupe.

Viper, COrvettes are too common and you can't compare the VIper to more run of the mill Vettes anyways as it is more inline with the ZR1 performancewise. Of course I think i would take a Ford GT over either, but between Vette and Viper, viper all the way.

If I had the money to burn to buy either it would be the Viper for sure. I wouldn't even look at the Vette.

I agreed with you all the way except the part about the Ford GT. I really like the refinement of the ZR-1 and the Viper is pretty cool too but the GT would have to be lower on my own list. The thing is just too hard to live with. Maybe just a weekend only toy but even then it would be down farther on the list. Power is great but getting in and out is a total pain. The shifter sucks big time.

For the wow factor - the Viper. For the comfort and usability: The Corvette.

I love the Viper in the bright green metallic.

Between the two ... if I could only have 1 car to live with every day, I'd go with a Corvette. But if it was a weekend toy, Viper.

I was kind of thinking of it a weekend toy only. As a daily driver I would choose none of the above Actually give me a Raptor pickup or even better a Hennessey Velociraptor pickup, now I am just getting off track LOL
