******** dual sub box question

Ok I'm looking to purchase the ******** dual enclosure box for a LS camaro. I have never bought subs etc before so I have no idea what Im looking for. How do I know if the subs I want/get will work positively with the enclosure? Also, is it adviseable to hook up subs to the factory LS set up? Will I need to get any wiring harnesses or anything?

You will need an amp wiring kit and a Line out converter.

Each sub has a specific volume of airspace it requires for the type of enclosure you are using. ******** boxes are "sealed" so find a sub that will work in the airspace provided by that box. Each sub maker should list the airspace requirements on their website.

From ********s website: Mounting Depth: 8.75" Volume: 1.1 cu.ft per sub

Make sure your subs fit both specs. No deeper than 7.25" (allowing for 1.5" of box depth due to the wood used to make it) and can work with 1.1 cu.ft of airspace in a sealed box.

If I am incorrect in any info, I'm sure there are those way smarter than I who will get you back on track. Good luck with the build.

Awesome, thank you. Now it doesnt have to be exactly 1.1 cf just so long as the subs dont exceed that correct? Like I can get a sub thats 1.0 cf and be fine?

Actually, looking for a sub that's suitable for 1ft^3 net would be excellent, as the ******** will be 1.1ft^3 before sub displacement. Of course, .2 tenths isn't really going to matter in a daily driver.

I'd look for a sub no deeper then 7-7.125" as well, give it some breathing room. Don't really want the sub's motor resting on the wall. It will affect the cooling.
