Removing dried water spots?!?

I need help on trying to get some spots removed from my car. I had my car parked on an end spot overnight and the next morning I saw that some water sprinklers had obviously been run over the night and left some water spots on my car....no big deal except a couple of days later when I'm washing the car these water spots are not coming off. It's almost like the water left some mineral deposits or something on the paint when it dried over the morning and next couple of days. Does any one have an idea on how to get these removed for good? I have washed my car multiple times since this has happened and the spots are still there. I realize pictures will help and will post some tonight when I'm off work....

Sometimes, when they're fresh, a clay bar can do the trick too. Good luck!

Agreed. Depends on how bad and how fresh they are.

Start with a wash and then claybar... if there are still spots after you clay take a little polish to them and that should do the trick. If they're stubborn it may take a few rounds to get them completely removed.

Thanks for the quick responses, I will have to try a few of these options to see if I can get them out before my paint is ruined!

Don't stress too much about it, just the sooner you address it the better the chances are that you'll be able to remove it with minimal effort. Just don't let it get like this mustang

There's a sticky about a water/vinegar solution. Detail spray may work. Claying will work.
