Removed mufflers from my Magnaflow catback (pn# 16483) and added Magnapacks.

Ever since I put the Magnaflow exhaust on my car, I've been waiting for it to break in and get a little louder. It never did. I approached my friend at Magnaflow for some suggestions and they suggested the Magnapacks. I was a little worried that they would be too loud, but after doing this, I'm SOOOO happy I did. My car now sounds like I think it should. Before it didn't sound like something that made over 500 horses to the wheels. It's not obnoxiously loud at all and just has a deep, throaty sound like it should. I was able to use reuse the exhaust tips that came with the system so it looks the same as it did. I think Magnaflow should start making their systems with these for the Camaro or at least give the option. Here are some pics. I'll post some vid clips for sound later if I can.

I'm trying to upload them to You Tube now. Here's one. I do not have headers (yet). The Magnapacks are glorified glass packs, but look nicer and i think have more material than the straight glass pack.

Hmmm....I wonder if they would be too loud if you were to put on LTs.

Good to know there is another option....although Jordan at JDP had suggested some 4" round 15" long Magnaflow mufflers if the ones on the 3" were too quiet for my taste. I'm still waiting on my to "season" up as well.

Thanks for posting the vids up that way. Didn't know how to do that.

Regarding the LT's, I honestly don't think they would be too loud. I was just thinking how they could probably stand to be a little bit louder while still being below the obnoxious point. I've passed several cops already and not one of them have even given me a second look. Next on my list of mods is definitely LT's, but probably won't be for a while. Just did some mods to my Duramax GMC so I'm going to hold off for a bit.
