Anyone put in the JL Audio stealth box?

I just got the first phase of my upgrade done (Morel Hybrid Ovation II 6's up front, Morel Tempo 6x9's in the rear, JL Cleansweep and a JL HD600/4) and need to make a final decision on a sub.

I am looking for opinions from people who had installed the JL stealth box with the 12W6v2 in it. I want something musical to fill out the bottom, nothing obnoxious. Purely going for sound quality. I was actually thinking I wanted to put in a single 10W6v2, but the JL box comes with the 12 already in it. I guess I am worried it will be overkill, lol.

If you like the look and have to have a JL product for your box/sub combo, go for it. I'm not a fan of either the look or price of the JL setup. You can get a ******** box, put the JL sub in the box, and buy the amp for the cost of the JL enclosure.

That's why I went with ********.

Audio Integrations makes a fiberglass custom sub enclosure for like $300. I have it with a JL 10w6v2 in it and it sounds great - tight, accurate, and can get louder than I would ever want to let it thump.

Is Audio Integrations a local company to you or can I order online? I live in NJ and have been trying to find a company that makes custom fiberglass enclosures. I will be getting a LS next month and I want to do a system right and not put in a carpeted box in the back. I mean you wont see the box that much but when people do I want it to be nice and compliment the car.

Nevermind, I saw their website. Thats not what I'm looking for. I actually want a fiberglass box, colored and all.

I have the 12w6 stealthbox...if sound quality is what you want, this box is where it's at! I'm running a Rockford Fosgate T500-bd1 with a bass knob set up in the glove box. Deep, clean bass at an adjustable level. It's perfect for me, i listen to a little bit of everything. Definitely a little on the pricey side, but the build quality is second to none.

Mine got installed today. Pushing it with a JL XD600/1 with the bass knob on the center console by the cup holders. I am in sonic bliss. Absolutely love it.

That's the exact set-up I was thinking of doing. Have you done anything else to your system?

Duper, so that enclosure really sounds good? Does it carry bass okay as well?

I got the same setup, and it sounds amazing for me as well! I have a Pioneer amp powering the sub!
