I looked all over, in the cosmetics and lighting forum, etc...can't find anywhere that talks about the interior ambient lighting. does the 2LT have it? if so, where are the pics?

Yes the 2lt has it, not sure where to tell you to get the pics without actually googling it myself

Yup, the 2LT has it. Not sure about other models. I think it's really cool at night.

2LT and 2SS. It's just a thin strip of blue light at the top of the door panels. Cars with orange interior have orange light instead.

Keep in mind, even though the 2LT and 2SS come with ambient lighting, it is only on the door panels from the factory. You'll have to do some work on your own to get it to go across the dash also.

Also a question on ABL on dash was with a HEAT issue if you park into a REALLY hot sunny spot..(may not work) so a sun screen may be the way to go...maybe that is why gm did not do it on dash?? hope that helps..

Heat???? I doubt heat would do anything to it. Plus its led so it doesnt throw out any heat. IMO its well worth doing the ABL across the dash.

Could you be a little more specific. What would one have to do to get the dash lit?

Check the DIY forums. You can either use the gm lamps but the light pipe is hard to find. I believe one member has them now though. The other way is using el wire. On newer cars you have to tap the connections in the kick panels.

I love the look and feel in the car at night. If you had this in your door you'd probl want it across the dash. Looks more finished across the dash.
