Borla S Type Catback owners-opinions?
Trying to pull the trigger on a catback system. I have listened to a lot and am pretty sure I want the Borla S. Any opinions? For example, how's the famous drone, and does it reduced undercarriage clearance like some of them do?

I have the Borla S-Type, I don't do a ton of highway driving, but I have noticed that the drone happens around 71 to 76 MPH in 6th at about 1700 to 1900 RPMs.
You do notice it, but it's really not that bad. Some people think it's the worst sound on earth when you're driving, but I picked up this car to go fast and to hear a good exhaust, not to worry about how someone may feel when they're in my car cruising down the highway. Here are a few clips for you to look at. The first one is when I first installed the cat back. The only other mod I had was a Cold Air Inductions Intake. The second video is after I installed the Jannetty Racing 415 package, which is, Dynatech headers, CAI of your choice (additional costs may be applied due to brand selection), and a SCT tuner with tune.

Plenty of undercarriage clearance since in comes in pieces you have plenty of wiggle room to put it where you want. |

I absolutley LOVE mine and get a ton of compliments about it, its the perfect tone and has a badass growl... Drone isnt too bad, i dont mind it at all, but I do wonder if passengers find it annoying but no one has ever complained. I only hear the slight "Drone" around 1500-2200rpm in 6th. (between 75-85mph.) once it hits 85mph the drone goes bye bye. and u only hear it when ur accelerating, if ur just crusing at those RPMs u dont really hear it.

If you have any interest in listening to your stereo you will never notice drone ...It is noticeable if you roll your windows down, turn off the stereo, and get on the highway....even then it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be...
I didn't use dynomat ...my sound deadener is a subwoofer lol
