Not a good day :(

some cops have a way to clock you while they're going the opposite ways, it's some new gadget BS they have....i hate it, I can't stand where I am in VA there are "cop nests" all over the place it makes me super nervous to go more than 3-5 over the limit.

So how fast were you going? Sorry to hear that. I remember my first ticket in my 2005 Monte Carlo, I had just bought the car brand new. The first question the cop asked me was "Is this your car?". I wanted to reply "What do you think, I am drivin it like I stole it!" I pansied out and just sat stone quiet while I received my $130 ticket.

Sorry to hear this.....but its easy for them to get you when they are going opposite direction. The Radar unit has a input feed connected to his cars speedo, the unit subtracts that speed from the units perceived speed and indicates the difference. the magic of electronics !

All mobile RADAR units have the ability to track vehicles, moving or stationary. Many of the new ones have the ability to track multiple vehicles, front or rear, moving or stationary. These RADAR units are super expensive and a marvel of engineering. They're all powered by a brain box that computes and does all the math for you. And by plugging it into the speed cluster does nothing more than assist the computer into computing the patrol vehicle's speed vs the target vehicle.

Holis... The cop driving a charger perhaps?
I've seen one around Cedar Park. Just curious.

Two Words... Radar Detector
One word:

Worthless.

In the hands of a properly skilled RADAR operator. The "hold"button is the best thing since sliced bread.

LMAO... I'm sure he was driving down the road the opposite direction with his finger on the hold button just waiting for the Camaro to pass...

They're not 100% but the DO work...

I got pulled over about a week ago by a state trooper. I was coming over an over pass & slammed on the brakes. I don't think he clocked me. I got let off w/ a warning I still had the paper tag on the back. The trooper made it a point to look at the front end to tell me I need to get the license plate bracket installed on the front. I didn't want holes in my bumper so I did the toggle bolt method of bracket installation
