Wink How can I make my car better? (rhetorical)

...By adding an intake! I just installed the Injen Short Ram Intake in my V6! Since I know most of you are addicted to photos I've added a few pics... But the real treat is the video!!! The video's not professional quality but you'll get the idea.

Thanks! I like it, too! After I edited the video, I realized that I didn't have enough driving video. So, I'll probably make a longer driving vid sometime this weekend. It definitely gives the engine a louder, deeper sound. And every once in a while, a whistle!

I'm glad Injen did a design like that. Sounds awesome!

Your exhaust will get deeper over time also when that thing breaks in, thats what happened with mine and it sounds pretty good.

I was a little confuse on the in-cabin video:
  • Injen Take off? (did you mean Stock Take off?)
  • Injen WOT?

He means taking off from a stop with Injen. And wide open throttle with Injen.

Correct. I wasn't sure how to word it differently.

I didn't do a hard take off in the video because I was coming out of a parking lot w/ traffic on both sides. It definitely sounds louder and deeper than stock though.

That's what I want to do. Just haven't decided on Orange like the car or Blue to match the bowties.

The box is solid. I tried wiggling it around today and it didn't budge a bit! Glad you all liked it!

Is there a differnce between "Cold Air Intake" and "Short Ram Intake".
Thanks

The "Cold Air Intake" from Injen is a longer tube that goes down towards the front bumper. It provides more horsepower but requires more work to install (remove wheel well liner, relocating the wash bottle). The "Short Ram Intake" is what is pictured and and has the basic structure as the stock intake, but with more airflow. It is a quicker install than the cold air intake. Most intakes that Say "Cold Air Intake" are not "true" cold air intakes according to some people.

Here's a link to Raqball's install of the Cold Air Intake.
