High Flow Cats

Hey gang. New here.

I found a used, < 5000 mile, Camaro with some engine mods. It has headers but NO CATS.

Are there any known issues with adding a set of High Flow Cats to the LS3?

Did a search but didn't find anything specific.

Thanks...

no issues, you wont even lose any HP going from no cats to a good set of hi-flow cats.

I was always told you might lose up to 10 HP but have never seen any numbers. I have high flow cats and no cats on my 4th Gen and it did feel a little stronger but the cats made my neighors happier. They were glad I sold my Camaro. They asked my wife if my new car was going to be as loud. I say louder, maybe.

Good luck with your new car.

Adding some good Hi Flow Cats to the system will help keep you running a bit cleaner for the sniffer guys so there would be nothing wrong with this at all.

We have two cars, one with and one without Hi Flows and there is about no difference in performance.

Best of luck in your future purchases...we like em with and without cats!
