What should I do to remove small scratches in the clear coat??
Hey All, Just wondering what everyone does to remove clear coat scratches?? Waxing does not seem to do the trick. Talking about those small light scratches you can only see when the sun shines on it. Its driving me crazy!! Any ideas??

Step up to a polish. If that doesn't work, try a light compound.

you need to use polish to remove scratches and in some cases a polishing machine as well. Check out the Junkman videos to learn how its done.

For me... I use the Adams products. The swirl and haze remover works great for light scratches... for the ones that you mentioned.
What also works for me... Telling my wife to be mindful her dang purse as she walks through the garage! I swear I have buffed the front end 10 times... I still love her

Waxes will never "REMOVE" scratches... you need to polish. To effectively remove all of the small swirl marks, scratches, etc. you'll need to use a machine, by hand the best you can hope to do is reduce them to less noticeable.

I have the lite scratches and swirls as well, will buy a DA polisher and remove them come spring, not sweating it til then. to most people my car looks great. have a slew of mods coming in the spring so will just wait to bring her to perfection once again :o)
