anybody running 2 12" subs?

I just picked up 2 JL Audio 12w6v2 subs and a JL 1000 Slash amp cheap (love Craigslist). Getting ready to go in for the install tomorrow.

The question I had was what kind of enclosures have you guys had success with. The ******** one looks decent, but I am somewhat impatient. I may just have the installers build one. They quoted me 200 including install which is probably what the ******** will come to after shipping, install, etc.

Any suggestions?

Great forum. I have been a lurker till now.

Thank you.

If you want to keep any trunk, you'll be running sealed, ala the ********. If the installer you are going too is reputable, and you can see some of their work, the price quoted is awesome. At the shop I used to work for, just building the box would get damn near $200, and then you still had to pay for install, lol.

Agreed, ******** is the cheapest way to do two 12s. We have two 12s in ours with a customer box. Love the look and sound.

i was slightly mistaken. it was $200 for the box and $200 for the install of a flush-mount. I went with it. Wish me luck. I pick it up today.

@zkdreads: that looks really nice. i hope mine turns out similarly.

Flush mount? Trim panel? That's usually included in the price of the box, if it's simple enough. Although, $400 for install/box/trim panel/parts isn't all that bad. Can't wait for pics!
