@ Lonestar Motorsport Park Saturday November 20th, 2010.

There is a war raging on the streets and forums of Houston, TX. The battle lines have been drawn in The Power City. Once and for all we will know what side of Houston is the fastest. Drag racers from the NORTH side of I-10 will face-off against drag racers from the SOUTH side of I-10 in drag day event coordinated by Houston Performance Driving. The time has come has come to back up the smack talk. If you think you have what it takes to represent your side. Then join the heavy hitters of Houston in an all-out battle to prove which side really is the fastest. It's time to go BALLS DEEP Houston!

- There has been a massive amount of attention and criticism of the street scene here in Houston. Street racing has caused many injuries and even deaths in the Power City. It's now time to stop this behavior and take it to the track. Houston Performance Driving is stepping up to the plate with to educated newbs and old cats a like on good old fashion 1/4m drag racing.

- Give the track a chance! If you are a street racer...it's guaranteed that if you give the track a chance. You will feel that rush you get on the street. However in a safe, ticket-free, and controlled environment . YOU WILL GET HOOKED ON TRACK!

- Houston Performance Drivings mission is to bring all Houston Area race crews, forums, independents, and shops together for a different kind of track night* with a street racing theme. HPD is a forum that hosts many events throughout the year. Such has drag days/nights, meets, shows, cruises, and many social activities. HPD is a open forum to performance Imports and Domestics and those who push them to their limits.

I. General Event Outline:

- Houston Performance Driving (HPD) will host and coordinate North Side vs South Side @ Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX.

- Gates open @ Noon.

- Open Test-N-Tune. Both sides will being qualifying for their top (8) fastest racers in each class.

- The top (8) North Side racers will face off against the top (8)
South Side racers in each class.

- The "sweet 16" ranking list for each class will reflect the overall winners.

- Trophy and winner presentation.

- Gates CLOSED!

II. Event Details:

- Where: Lonestar Motorsport Park in Sealy, TX.
- When: Saturday November 20th, 2010.
- Gate enrty = $15.
- Tech card = $20.
- Gates OPEN @ Noon.
- Test-N-Tune from 1pm to 3pm.
- Qualifying from 3pm to 5pm.
- Shootout @ 5pm.
- Trophies and awards @ 6pm.
- Gates CLOSED @ 6:30pm.

III. Class Information and Structure:

Street Tire Class:

- Street Tires ONLY!
- FULL interior. (racers must have working dash, front seats, working headlights, signals, and wipers. RADIOS and A/C are *not required)
- Unlimited motor modifications and power adders.

Drag Radial Class:

- Drag Radials ONLY! (DR's will be scaled on 120 thread count.)
- FULL interior. (racers must have working dashing, front seats, working headlights, signals, and wipers. RADIOS and A?C are *not required)
- Unlimited motor modifications and power adders.

Drag Class:

- Slicks/Drag Pack ONLY!
- FULL interior. (racers must have working dashing, front seats, working headlights, signals, and wipers. RADIOS and A?C are *not required)
- Unlimited motor modifications or power adders.

Unlimited Class:

- Fully unlimited! NO RULES! This is Thunderdome!
- NO interior restrictions.
- Unlimited motor modifications or power adders.

IV. Qualifying Structure:

All classes have the same rule set and structure!

- When the qualifying round starts. Get has many passes has you can during the lotted time.

- Street Tire Class, Drag Radial Class, Drag Class, and Unlimited Class will take the (8) fastest times.

- All classes will qualify at the same time.

V. Shootout Structure:

- Once qualifying is complete. The top (8) times for each side (North/South) and each class (Street/DR/Drag/Unlimited) will face-off with a heads up shootout.

- Each class will have it's own shootout. The fastest time will race the slowest time on the qualifiers list. Single round elimination until a winner is crowned.

VI. Awards/Trophies:

- The top (3) finishers for each class will receive trophies + plus 1 FREE event T-Shirt!

- The top (8) qualifiers will receive a FREE event T-Shirt!

Good news! High Tech Corvette will be mounting Go-Pro Cameras on racers rides during the event. If you would like the footage of your passes from your ride please get with Brian Stewart track side for your vids. Many of you also know Nick Kallergis who is a partner in HTC. Glad to have you guys with us!

- C16 = $14.00 per gallon

-110 leaded = $10.00 pergallon

- 109 unleaded = $11.00 per gallon

- 93 unleaded = $5.00 per gallon
