Any one have a copy of the AFM system?

Can anyone point me to a site where I can find a copy of the circuit used to control the AFM system?

No I can't.
But, if your question is can the AFM system be defeated?
Removing power to the lifter control solenoid will keep the valves working - not go into AFM mode. However, that is not a good thing to do because the ECM turns fuel off to the 4 AFM cylinders when it turns off the valve action. AFM needs to be turned off in the ECM for everything to be happy.

I realized that both need to be controlled. Was hoping that a single circuit would turn off the lifters and the injectors. Or at least a separate on or off circuits to turn them off. So that if that circut was disabled, the engine would run on all 8, full time.

Here is a screen shot of the ECM logic. I don't see any way to defeat AFM and still have everything else working.

I was hoping that there was a normally closed relay or relays somewhere that when opened, would control turning off the injectors and valves for AFM. But I guess the ECM controls them, at lest the injectors directly.

Don't want to do a tune and loose the warranty coverage. That is the only way I have heard of to disable it. If there is another way, I would like to know about it.

Tap shift is the only way stop AFM without a ECM tune. OBTW a trans tune really makes an A6 car great!
