Couple questions :)

Im getting a Camaro soon, and just wanted a couple things cleared up from the pros:
(I'm going to add q's as I think of them)

How are the sideview mirrors? they look sexy, but oddly shaped, do they work well?

and I am 6'1, and at 16 yrs old, still growing. Would I be comfty?

How does the Camaro behave in the rain with just the Summer tires on, I plan on getting snow tires for mine which Im sure wont have a problem in the rain, but Im curious about the summer tires in the rain.

Thanks in advance

Don't call the Camaro "Maro"

But anyways, the sideview mirrors are fine and the blind spots aren't nearly as bad as many people make them seem. And yes you should be very comfy, I'm 16 at 5'11 and fit fine, just adjust your seat accordingly

I'm 6'4" and have a sunroof with about an inch of head room. Without the sunroof there would probably be about another inch.

So, even if you grow another 4-5 inches you should be good.

Visibility isn't good. Not as bad as MT makes it out to be though. Plus it's your car it doesn't matter, you drive it enough and it will seem like a normal car.

Can 16 year olds test drive a Camaro SS?

Visibility is terrible. After 10 minutes, it's great.

Really though, you do get used to it quick. You unconsciously compensate for it. Then, you really only notice it when you switch to any other car.

The only annoying thing is that the windshield is so short, you can't see the overhead stoplights if you are the first car in the line. You have lean way forward and look up. The A pillars can block certain dangers as well...again, you get used to it. But its no wonder the car mag reviewers complain because they don't have the car on the street long enough to get used to it.

Visibility is the compromise for having the coolest looking muscle car on the road. The compliments, the thumbs up, the gas station conversations, etc. It’s the price we pay. Mustangs look ho-hum. Enough said.

I feel this pretty much sums it well nice, just got to get used to it. If you're having second doubts go try and sit in one and have the sales person or parent walk around the car so you get an idea of visibility. Thats if you cant test drive it of course.
