Blown SS vs. ???

From a roll, let's say maybe 40-120mph. Twin Turbo 2010 SS making 550rwhp and 560rwtq. Any stock cars out there that would beat this? There can't be that many. Not talking about modded other cars, just modded SS vs. whatever.

Camaro weight = stock car weight + 75lbs sound deadener + 100lb turbo setup + 208lb driver.

There is no easy answer to this as there are many things that play a role in acceleration. But based upon power to weight ratio here is a quick list. They're all based on curb weights so driver weight has been left out.

You = 7.43
You without sound deadener =7.3

Mustang GT500 = 7.4
Ferrari 612 = 7.2
Audi R8 V10 = 6.9
Dodge Viper SRT-10 = 6.7
Ferrari F430 = 6.6
Chevy Corvette Z06 = 6.3
Ferrari 599 GTB = 6.2
Chevy Corvette ZR1 = 5.3
Bugati Veyron 16.4 = 4.2
Ariel Atom = 3.7

All of them are production stock cars. The list goes on for quite a while (that's probably only about 1/10th of them). While most of them are more expensive then what you have one could argue that a Miata with an LS3 would have cost you less then half the price, would have been perfectly streetable and would have a power to weight of 5.4.

550rwhp does not equal 550 crank hp.

lol...no disrespect whatsoever, but a car with 750 to 800 crank horsepower IS ALOT for a street legal car!

I don't care if you can name 20 guys that have 1000 HP cars the drive on the street, your in a super small group. 3/4 of all americans have never driven a car with half of that power...so yes...it is alot. lol.

There really is too many variables in the equation to see that you could out run every factory car ever made. Horsepower is not always the thing that wins the race. but I do think that you would run most of them from 40 miles per hour. FTW
