I have to admit, being an "old school" Camaro-guy, I was very much on the fence when it came to my impression of the 5th Gen Camaro. Sure, I drove several models, checked out all the specs, read the reviews, listened to the hype and finally waited until the dust settled a bit and the cars had been on the road for several months.

My son, a die-hard Camaro fan, never stopped his pursuit to make me a 5th Gen owner. Fortunately, the opportunity to purchase just the right 2SS/RS model came together a few weeks ago and as I drove the "beast" home, I felt I was in automotive heaven, blasting down the open highway rolling through the manual gear box. Man, this is an awesome machine!

But the final "oh yeah moment" really hit home today when we drove the car home at night. The dashboard lighting, display of the guage package and that lighting in the door panel - wow... I was really enjoying the ride.

For anyone on the fence about a purchase, like I was, you just have to spend some time behind the wheel to appreciate the car's overwhelming appeal to the muscle car senses. Performance. Appearance. Attitude.

I can't wait to spend more time behind the wheel.

congrats, and I'm with you, I have owned many Camaros from all generations and the 5th gen is my absolute favorite, these Camaros are awesome and so bad azz looking.
