homelink

Ok homelink 101...On most garage door openers or gate operators u have to learn your handheld remote/clicker to the car first. You do this by holding down the button on the homelink you want to use. The LED will flash slow. keep holding it down and hold the clicker next to the LED and press the button and hold it down till the LED on the homelink flashes fast. then press the learn or program button on the operator and then on the homelink.. the light on the operator will either flash or the door will move so make sure your baby is not under the door.
One other note. alot of cars have homelink and its easy to tell it because it only has one LED by the three buttons. Alot of cars also have a system called LEAR. its a completly different programing process for LEAR and alot of operators are not compatable. hope this helps give me a shout if you need help..own a garage door / gate company and we program alot of cars.
