Random Automotive/Towing Question
I just got back from California and noticed that there were alot of people towing their cars behind their RVs, trucks, etc. This got me wondering; if you're towing your car and it's in neutral, do the miles still count up, or does the car know it's not running and stop counting? This was killing me the whole flight back from Cali and I need to know!

not if you're towing it from the rear end and the front wheels are what's dragging? How about on a flatbed/trailer?
