Obama was just getting interviewed, and the last question was one about BCS Championship. He pointed out that he congratulated his Florida colleagues but that he understands that people from Utah and Texas are probably frustrated with the outcome. He said that he wants a BCS playoff. The CNN commentators were all surprised that he providing an opinion on the BCS, so it was pretty entertaining.

What do you guys think? Do we need a BCS playoff?

I say leave it alone. (BCS)

Maybe add a "+1".

As for Obama, changing the BCS should be waaayyyy down the list of his priorities.

At the very least, they need to revise the voting procedures to prohibit post-season nonsense that happened this year.

Can someone add a poll? My work internet failed after I posted this thread. The options should be as follows.

• YES—playoffs are necessary.
• NO—the status quo works for me.
• NO—add games to the season to improve BCS numbers.
• What's the BCS?

I would love to see the winners of the final four play in a championship game..

The BCS is too exclusive. We have 119 Div. 1 teams and only 66 are eligible to be the Champ. The BCS is nothing but a cash cow for some wealthy businessmen. If it is not fixed, the BCS will lose it's credibility and fans will look more to the Ap poll or any other poll that actually includes all the teams.
I know who the best team in the country is and that is the 13-0 Utah Utes.
