Over here by Spokane we have had temps below zero - froze the starter in my 4x4 pickup so I've missed 2 days of work for that. Husband finally got his truck up our "hill" and got out to get me the new starter, only because someone ran a personal plow down the hill and took the majority of the snow off it. I get to be one of the first to try the hill this morning with all this fresh snow and no sand.
Looks to be about a foot of snow out there and it's still snowing. I was hoping to NOT have to hire the guy with the snowplow to plow my 500' driveway but it's looking more and more like it. I live on a dead-end road at the northernmost end of Spokane County, and it's usually plowed for the school bus but lucky us this week there's NO school because of the holiday, hence our road won't get plowed until probably tomorrow night. Other than that, one short power outage, the dish is getting scrambled but Dennis will get a ladder up and fix that shortly by moving the snow on the roof. We have plenty of food and firewood, so life's good here! Of course the Camaro is snugged up in the shop, I might poke the nose out to take a pic of the IBM against the snow but I'll wait for that blinding sunny cold day to do that! How's our other PNW Camaro owners doing in the snow? |
