new clutch and now transmission grinds

had my SS into the dealership for a noise in the tranny when depressing the clutch pedal, they diagnosed and replaced clutch assy and release bearing assy. picked it up tonight and first thing i noticed is the clutch engages very close to the floor. then as i was driving i shifted to second with the clutch pushed all trhe way in and it made grinding noise going into second. turned around and as i was coming to a stop shifted into first and tranny wouldnt go into first and made same grinding noise. all new clutch parts yet it is obviously not disengaging the clutch.. left the car there . any theories?

I could be wrong but it sounds to me like there is air in the line... it's compressing and not disengaging the clutch all the way......

so i wonder why the tech wouldnt have noticed that it wasnt right. or is it possible it felt right and then air collected after the car was sitting idle for a day?

Anything is possible, I'm sure they will get it right... unfortunately, that meant leaving the car again...
