10 Convertibles in Columbia SC - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So my buddy went to lunch today and saw 10 new Camaro convertibles driving down 20 in Columbia SC. He said they were all different colors some with stripes and some without. Also said they all had Michigan plates. He has a high end Lexus and said when they entered the entrance to the interstate punched it and he couldn't keep up. Said the exhaust note was awesome. Man wish I would have seen it.

I was not there but I would have taken a ton of pics if I was. I was not even aware the convertibles were out yet?

Doh. I'm always on 20 and go figure I wasn't today. I would've probably caused an accident from rubbernecking.

Ah yes! The Camaro Engineering team on a "Ride and Drive" - -

Every detail studied under all conditions - and you'd be amazed at the little stuff they'll find and go to work on -- so that when you get your new Convertible, the little things that weren't quite right - won't exist!

Dang, that's the first I've heard of a sighting of an unreleased Camaro in SC. When the car first came out I never saw or heard reports of a Camaro until they were in dealerships, and even then it was forever before I actually saw one on the road.
