Am confused!!

Hi

I bought camaro v6-RS & it will be between my hands within the week

it is 2011

but am confused

in the camaro cataloge they wrote that the v6 is 2LT

but it comes with clothes seats & without HUD

am worried that it is 2010 can somebody help me and tell me any different between the 2LT 2010 & 2011 .. except the seats & the HUD


am very angry because the dealer don't bring the good vechile & specs. here in GULF all the dealer bring the worriest types of specs.

2LT is one of the model types. So it is still a V6, and the RS package is an exterior package giving you nicer taillights and halo headlights.

there are 3 V6 trim levels here the LS (base) the 1LT (cloth, no HUD) and the 2LT (leather, HUD). there are other differences but is that what you are looking for? The main differece between 2010 and 2011 is the HUD on the 2LT.

based on your info it sounds like you got the 1LT NOT the 2LT as you wanted.

Sounds more like a 1LT, the 2LT should have leather seats and HUD ...

but it seems that it is 1LT

ya either get the right car or get your money back. now if its a V6 and has leather and RS but NO HUD then its a 2010 2LT.....

If you look at the Door Jamb of the driver's side there should be a metal plaque that shows when it was built....if it's before June of 2010 it's a 2010 model....after June 2010 it's a 2011. I think there is a way to tell by the VIN number too but don't know off hand what it is

mine is a 1LT RS and mine has

20" midnight silver wheels = RS package
cloth seats = 1LT model
NO blue tooth or connectivity package
has HID Halo lights = RS package
NO HUD Display
does have cloth on the door panels = RS package
personally I don't see the need in a HUD or blue tooth or leather. I doubt where you live you want leather either due to the heat especially in black

Check on the trunk cover if you have the RS badge. If not you don't have the extras halos. It woudl be a 2lt non RS. There is also a possibility the a 1LT have the RS package. Check with you dealer and tell im what you wanted, the price will be different.

Leather is not part of the RS package. RS package can come on any trim package except LS. Bottom line is RS package has nothing to do with 1lt or 2lt. 1LT has no leather, 2LT does.
