USAA Price Drop

I received an E-Mail from USAA today. I bought mine 3 weeks ago for the higher price. I'm not suprised as this kind of thing happens to me all the time.

The strange thing is that I'm not upset about the $350.00. Love my new Camaro!

2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2dr Coupe 2SS
YOUR OLD PRICE: $550 below invoice including incentives

YOUR NEW PRICE: $900 below invoice including incentives

YOUR PRICE DROP $350

P.S. Please note that cars at these prices sell quickly! Contact Your Dealer today. Visit the USAA Car Buying Service to check current prices on all makes and models.

Your price drop may be due to the introduction or increase of manufacturer incentives, which are subject to change and/or expiration. Please contact your Certified Dealer for details.

Evidently GM has lowered the agreed price. I believe it's somthing slightly higher than GMS pricing...

LOL... on not sweating the small stuff... USAA and GM rock...

I am a member of USAA and negotiated on my own for about $500 under the USAA price.
(of course I used the $750 off)

It's not lower than GMS... may go as low as GMS but def not lower.

Military and Employee pricing are the same as GMS... they don't actually have Employee pricing anymore... all of the programs were combined and called GMS now.

Yep... like I said above USAA is normally just above GMS... there is room to go below the USAA no haggle price.

I got mine in April and only got the $300ish off - I'd have to check.

USAA and I have been on the outs since I got back from OCONUS.

Visit the website and find the car buying section.... you'll be able to build your car and get a "USAA PRICE" and a dealer that has promised to sell it to you for that amount... it may be a few hours away... but... hey, you asked.

if you are active duty military you qualify for the "GM Military discount" which is the same as DMS or whatever it's called now... anyway... that price and your USAA $750 discount should get you to below the USAA price.

The $750 discount is automatic if you are a bonified USAA member... all you have to do is show proof at the time of sale. That's $750 right off the top.

To get the "No Haggle" Quote you have to go through the USAA website car buying service. (Completely different from the $750). So if you are logged into the website you are obviously a member. Certain dealers have agreed to be "Preferred USAA Dealers" and will agree to the USAA quote. This doesn't mean you can't get a better deal on your own. If you are active duty skip this and just go with the GMS (GM Supplier Pricing) and then add your 750 discount on top of it.
