Dead Battery

Anybody have an issue with a dead battery after letting the car sit for a week? It's a daily driver, with the exception that I left on vacation over Thanksgiving week and when I came back the car would not start and I ended up having to call roadside assistance. My car is less than a year old and I didn't think the battery would go dead like that being that it is fairly new. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Could it be some sort of electrical/alternator problem?

Must be a electrical problem. I place my car in storage each winter.I get it out approx. every 2-3 weeks & warm it up to operating temperatures. Then I put back in the garage and cover her up nice and warm until another clear day allows me to get her out again and repeat.Did this last year and never have had a problem. No extra charging either.

I don't drive mine often and weeks go by in between starts, but it always starts at first crank every time.

There was a recall to better ground the batteries. It prevents them from rattling loose causing a weak connection to a dead battery.
