Talking Looks Like im Joining the V6 Family/Question on Mods

Appears I'm being offered a deal i can not refuse on a Certified Used 2010 2LT. I had my eyes on a 2011 1LT but this looks too good to pass up. Previous Owner bought car, customized it, wife got pregnant hated car and made him trade it in for an SUV.

2010 2LT Vin xxxxxxA9100165 (VERY low VIN)
Under 5000 Miles
Rally Yellow
Sunroof
Custom Hood Spears and Blacked out Bowties/Camaro Lettering/GM Chicklets
They are Fixing ALL small chips, etc from road debris.

Didnt look to see if it had a spare but i dont care either way.

Should be signing paperwork friday if all goes well. Only thing i dont like is its not an RS. however some HID's, Halos and adding a spoiler will solve that problem for me.

Anyone have a recommendation on best place to get those three mods? brand, supplier, etc. I'll worry about exhaust and cold air intake down the line.

Here's a few dealer pix to tease you guys with

Wellcome and join the satisfied group of RY owners. Go for what you think best, but I recommand installing thos Splash Guards they prevent paint chips very well.

Got mime installed last spring and no chips since. I mention them often but I fell that it's the first thing to think about and save on paint chips repairs...

I'd check with AAC (Advanced Automotive Concepts) on getting the halos and HIDs...they can add halos to your stock lights and theres many options.

Spoiler..well theres lots of options out there, just do some searching in the Cosmetics section of the site.

When your ready for exhaust/intake and other performance mods, make sure you stop in the V6 section. Tons of knowledge in there, and a very sweet V6 exhaust sticky page made by yours truely.

Congrats man!

The RS package looks nice, but those all-weather tires mean it's an all-weather cruiser - considering the time of year you're getting it in, this is probably a good thing! As you said, the other major differences you can mod yourself.

Welcome to the community!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. this is a HUGE swerve off the path i was on. I had my heart set on a 2SS/RS in Black with IO Interior. But finances and a few idiot dealers have stopped me from doing that for over a year and this car is in my budget and with the deal they offered me.... i'd be foolish not to do it. Forgot to mention. it's a 6spd Manual. no slushbox for me. J/K nothing but respect for the Automatic owners out there in the community.

Ahh, well if your heart is truely set on getting an SS eventually, I'm not sure how much you'd want to do performance wise, but one benefit of owning the manual is the fact that you can throw any sets of gears in that thing that SS owners can.

3.73s in that thing....Still good DDing, but sweet performance increase!
