Correct me if I'm wrong, but pads have to stay with rotors once they are mated correct?

No, they just need to be scuffed and bedded in. If your swapping compounds, you need to scrub the rotors too. Pad material gets embedded in the holes and can make the brakes squeal. These will be scuffed and ready for installation.

These have been mostly used with the stock pads. I did 1 autocross and 1 track day with the pads and about 600 street miles.
