Buying turbo kit in parts

I'm looking to ultimately have a TT setup for my ss camaro. I've looked at a couple sites and they are out of my price range 4 sure. Is it advisable to buy a turbo kit in parts? I want to start with a single turbo, and buy all the parts over the next couple months. I noticed turbonetics tells you everything that is in their kit. Once i am ready for a TT setup, is it possible to upgrade from a single turbo or is it a completely different setup. I noticed some are selling the turbonetics turbo for around $700 or $800.

thx

A. best christmas movie ever
B. The single setups on the camaro are located up around where the stock airbox tube is. The twins on the other hand are either located below the engine after the manifolds or at the rear of the exhaust. To go from a single to double would not be cost effective at all the way I see it. You're better off picking single or twin and going from there. I would talk to some T(T) manufacturers and see if they sell anything separately. IMO I wouldn't just buy random parts and hope they work together on my new car.
