CAI will not void your warranty , as long as it is installed right and your are not throwing any codes. K&N has a good history i thought. i cant give you advise on what CAI on the v6. i have a v8

Welcome to the Forum. There is a search button you can use for information such as searching out CAI systems. Also, since you have a V6 you would get more help posting in the V6 section. We have lots of members who can help you with anything and everything. Now to your question about CAI. Many are good, some perform slightly better than others, some look better than others. Personally I went with all out performance and bought the INJEN long tube. If you should have any further questions and want to PM for some help or advice feel free to do so. Again welcome and enjoy your new CAMARO.

Welcome and congratulations on purchasing a Camaro. I'm planning on a Roto-Fab CAI myself, I like the look and people sound very satisfied with them. Here's a link to the V6 forum: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=38

I have the K&N CAI in mine and even for the sound alone it was worth every penny. On the track, I ran .2 seconds faster in the 1/8th mile. Fuel economy hasn't been affected either. As far as the stereo goes, there should be some sort of option on the menu to turn RDS data off.

Hi good luck with your new camaro. I put mothers pure carnauba wax no. 3 on my car when it was new, then mother showtime after washing. About 3 months ago with 24000 miles on the car, i clay bar the car,and the bar was very clean. I'm very happy with mothers.

Cograts on the Camaro and welcome to the forum! There are many intakes on the market. Please take the time to read the comments of anyone that actually has the Roto-fab CAI system on their car. You can go to our gallery at roto-fab.com for a detailed explanation of our systems. Lots of cool pics there also!

Now i also have the K&N CAI 63 series and love it. Sounds excellent and has a nice roar to it when you feed it gas. I personally went with it because ive seen some reports where K&N showed more hp increase. Could be wrong idk and also because here in so cal when u get a smog check its a little hard passing with any other brand so ive heard. Now mine i thought it was street legal but i just confirmed that its not but i dont care. When smog time comes worst case scenario i'll just put the stock filter and change it back once it passes smog. As for the stereo, i think it the radio station because i also get no info on one or two and all the others i get release date etc.....lol jk. |
