AAC LED Reverse Lights Installed

Well I just got my AAC LED reverse lights installed. They are awesome! They are significantly brighter than the OEM reverse lights. They light my entire driveway up as well as the houses across the street from me. Sort of like mini headlights on the back of the car. It is great. The 4 round lights in each slot on the bumper look pretty sweet too.

The install was pretty easy and the directions hit everything you need to do. The instructions recommend having a second person to help remove the bumper, and they are right. I did remove it myself, which was a pain, but definitely got my wife to help me put it back on. Another tip somebody else posted that was worth while: put a blanket down on the ground so you don't scratch the bumper when you are working on it.

The first two pictures were taken in my garage with the exact same camera settings and the car in the same spot to give a good before and after comparison. The second are just pictures of the lights mounted on the car.

I got mine for christmas as well, they were an easy 30 minute install, and so much brighter than stock, I am very satisfied with AAC, i also got the interior, trunk, and license plate leds, and wow not only do these things look 5X brighter but they add a more modern touch to the vehicle. Next on the list is the bow tie!!

I love these but some pictures the Dots look yellow. Is it the angle? Would it be less noticeable on the tinted?

Agent WD-40 - when you removed the bummer how hard was it removing the covers off of the tail lights? I am worried about scratching the clips all up. Also in general I am worried on not getting the bumper back on and aligned like it came from factory. How hard was putting it back on?

I've upgraded almost all my lighting to AAC LED's. By now seeing your reverse light done I want to finish it all off by adding them also and the side markers. I Been very impressed with their products!

When you see more yellow that is the camera flash that brings out the LED flux behind the optics.
Thanks, I thought it might be the camera flash but wasn't sure!

I don't know of any shops but a dealer could probably install them. I believe the lights are plug and play.

As AACstyle said, it was the camera/angle of the shot. Standing behind the car you don't notice any yellow.

Sounds like most of your questions have been answered but I'll chime in on the bumper. It has clips on each corner under the tail light area. They can only come out and go back in one way. Not alignment needed. The screws in the wheel wells are the same. They really don't have any room to get out of alignment. The major alignment of the bumper is done by the clips at the back of the bumper though. So no worries there.

Putting the bumper back on wasn't hard with a helper. I had my wife hold the other end up while I pushed the back of the bumper so the clips snapped back into position. Once both sides were done I just screwed the wheel well screws back in.

Thanks for the info Agent WD-40 ... I research everything way too much before I buy it and reviews and pics help so much ... Thanks again for the reply ... I have these lights on my list to get this summer so I look forward to being able to see when I back up at night!
