Personally I vote for the Vararam.

i have a pretty much brand new (installed, started, removed. never driven) vararam thats been sitting in the box in my garage for months
1 problem - lost 1 or 2 of the screws (cant remember) that hold the MAF but im sure you could replace them at minimal cost 230 + shipping if you want in. i believe there is a new one out so i guess its the older one might help your decision? |

I can't speak on the performance of the New Era, but I just installed a VR and love it.
The throttle response (no more hesitation when hitting the gas) made this well worth the purchase. Also, some folks have stated that they could not hear an engine difference with the intake, but I sure do. Definitely a deeper, thicker sound when getting on it. And this is currently my only performance mod. |
