Spoiler for non RS

I want to buy an LT1, but I live in canada so I don't want larger than 18 inch wheels (winter purposes) and the rest of the RS package doesent really interest me. All I want is the RS spoiler

Can I get the RS spoiler without getting the RS pacakge

all the best, Nitrous

Like most cars, I guarantee you aftermarket "clone" parts will be available.

Buy a silver car and I'll trade you my trunk with spoiler for yours. You pay shipping.

And here is a prime example of why we'll need a buy/sell/trade forum once people start getting their cars.

I'll be getting the RS package on my LT but I'm leaning towards getting the blade spoiler so I'll end up with an extra RS spoiler when I'm done. I'm sure I'm not the only one that will have "spare" parts.

by blade you do mean the production Dove Tail or the High spoiler?

just wondering since the high spoiler uses different holes, thus i see people wanting to trade the 1lt guys their trunks because there will be no holes.

By blade spoiler, I mean blade spoiler.

The high wing spoiler is not for me. I don't mind it on the Camaro, I just don't want it on my Camaro.

just wanted to make sure. . . some people have been calling the dove tail the blade.

So you will be having the issue with holes in the trunk. .

the dove tail is the blade.....same thing we had confirmation of that all the way back at indy.

the dovetail/blade uses the same holes + some extra ones in the quarter.

that's what i thought. . . one thing that I don't get. . stock spoiler doesn't go off the trunk yet the dove tail does. . thus I am assuming you actually need to put some holes in for the two corners. . .unless they are using 3m tape?

god i hope they aren't using 3m tape for the sides, if they did i would not have the side pieces installed.

or maybe its like the first gen camaro....the spoiler is all one piece and it extends past the edge of the trunk but doesn't attach on the ends.
