Celebrating 100 years with my Camaro...

It just dawned on me, that GM began life in 1911.

Therefore, with the purchase of my first ever GM vehicle, my 2011 IOM 2SS, I am not only celebrating my first GM ownership experience, but 100 years of Chevrolet history.

Wasn't till I followed @GMNewsUS on twitter this morning that I realized it was founded in 1911.

I thought that was neat!

That's correct.
Chevrolet was founded by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant on Nov. 8, 1911.
Chevrolet was purchased by General Motors in 1917.
I have a 2011 Camaro and a 1936 Chevy that 75 years old.

I wonder how much more our 2011's are worth because of the 100th anniversary?
