Needs serious help.

So today a test drove a 2011 SS and too be completely honest it was nothing I expected at all. I could barely see out of the windshield and its was just plain hard to drive. It was also rather wide.
So tell me 5th gen owners, What is your input? Did it take some getting use to? Does the weird wide feeling go away after driving it?
The last thing I wanna do is drop 40k on a car and then screw it up because of a stupid blind spot error.

Your visibility is even worse when backing up....but you'll get used to it.

You will get used to driving it and it will seem like ever other car you've driven.

I would say it honestly took me a day or two to get used to it, but after that it was all second nature. Plus the car is so freaking damn fun to drive!

Okay, Then the Camaro many not be for you. Drive the competition and then pick which one you like best. Pretty simple.

Took me about 10 minutes to get used to the view from the driver's seat, and a couple days of backing up to get used to the blind spots.

It's a great car, you'll get used to it very quickly.

You're driving a bland Toyota with no style or class - that's enough reason to buy the Camaro.

it doesn't take that long to get used to the visibility. There are a couple big blind spots, but if you adjust your mirrors properly, the ones in the rear are taken care of. You just have to get used to the width of your car as to not clip curbs with your front.

Thank you Darren... That sentence alone has made me want to purchase a camaro. Haha. I will be returning to a different dealership tomorrow to test drive another camaro, I will probably be making the decision to buy one then... My plans are to purchase a 2011 SS Summit white with RS package and ground effects. That is if I do decide to buy one.

Nothing about mine has ever bothered me. I drove a convertible for the four years before my Camaro, so when the top was up, I never saw where I was going! But I gotta be honest, my hubby hates this Camaro just can't get used to it. But that's ok, it keeps him out of it!

You get used to it! This is my first 2 door car and I was saying the same thing after I bought it. After a week it felt just like any other car I have drive. As far as blind spots there are a couple but nothing the mirrors cant fix and if your still worried on changing lanes use the rear view or take a quick look behind you.

You really do get use to it but you could always get the convertible...no blind spots there while the top is down.
