best sounding exhaust is the one that everyone has installed on their Camaro.... LOL

Exhaust sound is a very personal choice... their simply is no one size fits all, best sounding exhaust...

get your headphones out and start going through the exhaust library sticky and decide for yourself...

Yep, scrming pretty much hit the nail on the head. There are lots of samples on the forum to listen to. Check out youtube as well. I have a Corsa on mine, and like it a lot, but it all depends on what sound you prefer.

If you haven't already seen it, here is the exhaust thread with plenty of examples of different exhaust setups http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33104.

But my favorite is the MRT v1.0, here is a playlist I made for myself a while back with different vids of the exhaust http://www.youtube.com/user/myCamaro...C82A660661DE53 when you're listening to the vids, it's better to use a pair of headphones or earphones.

As scrming said, everyone is going to be biased towards their own setup. Good luck!

Solo Performance

My choice is Solo Performance
I'm placing my order this coming friday. I know 2 members with them and the sound is great and no "drone"

I'll be going with Solo Mach X-LLT come April, so I can install them as soon as I get them. Kinda hard to do when it's 10 above!

yep, personnal choice. And some vids aren't the same as in person, flowmaster and Magnaflow catback are good examples.
I like Solo, Gibson, MRT for the deep rumble sound, don't like high pitched and raspy, or the boomy monotone of Magnaflow.
I think I am going mrt v2 to replace the magnaflows and with the headers and resonated x pipe should be a good combo. This could be another way for you to go also.

You would be better off hearing them in person; a recording doesn’t sound anything like it does in person. I got the same replies when asking what sounds better.
Trust me hear them in person then make your own chose on what sounds good to you.
Myself I went with flowmaster American Thunder, I liked it over all the other once.

Go with the Solo cat back and get rid of those trash can axle back systems everybody is pushing. You get rid of the mufflers and add a resonated x-pipe upfront giving you better performance, less weight and a great sound that can be tuned for your car !
