Red face Not Quite Camaro #2, but...

When gas prices started climbing a few weeks ago, the "boss" put a halt to Camaro #2.

I was looking at trading in our 1999 Buick Century on a used 2010 Camaro LS in Wisconsin that was only $18K and ended up with a new 2011 Cruze LT/RS from our local dealership.

She said, "36 mpg is better than 29 mpg. Besides if you got #2, you'd never drive your other one." I don't see a problem that. It'll be worth more in 20+ years with only 963 miles on it.

Anyway, that Cruze is a snappy little car and I like driving it, but it sucks that I couldn't get Camaro #2.

They are nice cars. At least you have #1.

I think you're just trying to live Hawaii Five-O by copying its vehicles.

Which considering that white stuff on the ground, is totally understandable.

My only complaint about the Cruze is the seats are hard as a freaking brick. Other than that, I love it!!

I'd recommend a Cruze to anyone looking for a good car at a reasonable price.

All I have to do now is find somone who can re-do the seats so they're a little softer.

We just got nailed again with snow to the tune of 10"+ and high winds the day before yesterday.

The Cruze was getting around pretty good until I turned into our neighborhood and got stuck just 20 feet from my driveway.

Now you need a Traverse and a Silverado, and maybe a 9C1 Impala.

Congrats! This is one of the first RS cars I've seen in customer hands.

Cruze is very nice and more practical than an LS Camaro and your car may or
may not be worth any more in 40 years with less than 1000 miles on it. Just drive #1 and enjoy it!

We ordered the "boss" a 2011 Equinox 2LT back in September and picked up in December.

I think we're trying to collect each new Chevy model.

The Cruze with the Rally Sport Package was a pain in the a**/impossible to find in silver. Our dealership searched all of the U.S. for a silver one with the RS package. Never found one.

They found Crystal Red Metallic, Black Metallic, Gray Metallic, and Dark Blue.

We would have ordered a silver one the way we wanted it, but the Crystal Red Metallic was closest, had the options we wanted, and looked good so we bought it.

It looks exactly like the car I got as a loaner when I had to get some work done. Red 2LT Cruze. I hate red and I have to agree other than the color, the seats were hard as hell but otherwise it's a nifty little car. It's no Camaro though

Congrats! The Cruze is a snazzy little machine.

I'm still confused about all the guys on here that have wives that control the car-buying decisions, tho. The 'lipstick red' grocery getter won over the economical and sporty Camaro. The Cruze is a nice car and all, but it's clear who wears the pants in the relationship. This is a car you have to drive, no?

Ha! My girlfriend said I spent too much time with my Camaro and it was either her or my car. I am single again!

I wear the pants, but the wife tells me what size.

Anyway, either you're not married or you're just blowing smoke. I see guys like you at work. You tell everyone that you're the boss, but when we you're out with your wife/girlfriend, it's all "Yes dear, anything you want dear, etc."

There's nothing wrong with being "whipped" as long as it's the right one whipping you.

You should just get a fat person to move around on the seats for several minutes to soften those bad boys up.
