Squeaking noise from the clutch lever - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi,
I have been noticing a squeaking noise when I release the clutch quickly while shifting gears (its a 2LT).
The car has been in the garage for a month and not sure if I heard this noise before that.

It is not very loud but does get me concerned :(.

Any suggestions as to what I would need to do.

i get the same thing also, but i noticed that if im barefoot and shift, it doesnt do it, so i think its the friction coming from my shoe and the rubber on the clutch, or it may just be the spring needs a lube on your end, either way just take it to the dealer and all should be good

What was your issue, was it friction or a lubing issue?
