CAW fears that GM wants to pull out from Canada!!

On the evening news tonight here they were saying that the GM wants to move out of Canada. Lets hope this will not happen. Will this happen before the production of our Camaros? I did not make this up. Only time will tell.

Nothing like taking a quote out of context.
Quote:
"As a union, it makes no sense to ignore this crisis," he said in an interview. "We understand this is a terrible situation, and if we choose to ignore this crisis, there's a possibility General Motors would pull out of Canada."
They're not ignoring the crisis, they're going to make concessions, there's nothing to worry about here.

Wow thats pretty scary. Thats alot of jobs on the line. Thats a whole city on the line. I have a feeling things are just starting to go bad. I stepped outside on my lunch and it was almost dead silent outside, when usually sounds of working people would be heard. Its like the silence before the storm.

Sorry for the scare
We know that with the launching of the Camaro that GM will rise from this crisis. Our hard working people in the Oshawa plant will make sure of that by making the BEST Camaro yet.

I believe, way back in 2002, GM and Canadians made a deal that if the Camaro was ever brought back it would be built in Canada. So no Mexicamaro. I'm sure some of the electronics are made there since there is less restrictions. I was curious if this will be classified as an import or not I forget the rules on that. If it is will it be on the cover of Import Tuner?

Windsor has been building engines for a 100 years before they retrained the farmers.
