how to take out back seats - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

i am sure this as been started before. so if there is a thread already made let me know with a link.

i dont use the back seats. they are to small for my friends anyways. there heads hit the roof. how much do they weigh ? and anyone have pics with them out? and yes i know it will be allot louder inside the car. but i don't drive my camaro that much to care.

Hi. I haven't taken the back off but the seat part comes out real easy. Just lift the front of the seat with some steady force n it will pop loose. Then reach in the back edge where the top n bottom come together, reach in the crack n there r 2 hooks the rear seat latches onto. The bottom seat doesn't weight very much 10lbs maybe. U can go to the DIY section n find rear seat footwell lighting n u will see pics of the rear seat out. Hope this helps

Pretty sure they just pop right out... pull up on the front of the seat...
