Looking for a Mustang 2011. Something different. GT 500 Premium.

Don't blame you. Dont get me wrong, I love the Camaro, but if I could have afforded it, I wouldnt have batted an eye at picking up a new (10-11) GT500. The only Ford I'd go out of my way to get. I spent days flip flopping about getting a used '06-'07 GT500 over a new SS when my loans came through.

Same I've ben trying to convince my wife to trade her 2010 Tahoe for a GT500. Two kids are putting a hamper on it though.

GT500 is a sweet car if you got that kind of bank. OH and PS... I believe the "dark side" is usually considered the Corvette.

Do it. It's such an exciting car and I cant see myself ever getting bored with it.

You just can beat it's factory supercharged aluminum DOHC fully forged 550hp 5.4L for under $50k which can handle double the factory boost and make crazy hp all attached to a soild chassis that feels right at home on either the road course or running low 10's 1/4 mile track.

I was just like you and came here to learn about my future SS but after reading theses forums for a month I decided it would be in my best interest if I skipped the SS and went straight for the GT500 since I didn't have the $10k cash on hand to supercharge/ exhaust the SS and then I'm left without a warranty.

Have found myself looking at a grabber blue (2011) one more than once in the last few weeks. Can't blame you, they look like incredible cars.

the "dark side" doesn't refer to any one make or model. It just refers to switching to the opposing "team".
