Ordered an MBRP exhaust from gmpartsdirect...how long to delivery? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

On 1/24, I ordered an MBRP exhaust catback from gmpartsdirect.com

So it's about 2 weeks in and no word on anything other than an order confirmation and the website says "on order"...duh.

I've emailed them awaiting response, but since I doubt if I hear anything back from them until Monday, has anyone else ordered an "aftermarket" exhaust from them, and if so, how long was it from you ordered until it arrived?

At least they're smart about it and haven't billed my credit card yet.

Just trying to gage whether it's normal or not-so-normal?

I purchased my MBRP catback exhaust (304SS) for my 2010 SS from Autoanything. It was delivered in about a week. The price was about $1004. I recommend that you cancel your order and get it from them.

I ordered Hurst shifter and knob from them on 1-28-11 and I am still waiting. They advertised "free shipping on Hurst shifter" but wacked me with $13.95 "handeling".
Kinda pised me off.

Sounds like it's not in stock... they're probably drop shipping it. MBRP is in Canada, great company, shipments to the North East are about a week via truck freight... add a couple days to SC.

Once again, there are better dealer parts sites and other parts sites out there, all over.

GMPartsDirect always gives the impression of a lowest price to start, but then adds back high shipping/handling and can take forever to get & ship items, or notify you otherwise.

Try the site recommended, as well as Gene at GMPartshouse.com and so forth. Search for others, if you still don't get a response as to an update from GMPD.
