Super Chevy Show @ Virginia Motorsports Park May 20-22 2011

Its been mentioned that the 5th Generation Camaro Shootout to debut at all 12 Super Chevy Show events in 2011. Thanks to the wonderful people here at Camaro 5, us 5th Gen owners can go to Super Chevy and have some fun. More information can be found here http://www.superchevyshow.com/2011/0...vents-in-2011/

With being said....who's gonna compete in the the shootout from the mid atlantic area????

All I can say ... Im gonna enter!..."shopping for drag radials as we speak LOL"

They dont have the track information posted yet (the flyers) but check out the Super Chevy Website for more information.

So plan and set your calendars!!!

Looking forward to seeing some of the C5 gang there representing the Camaro

would like to...looks like i would need to borrow your street slicks.lol
still have some tread on my extra rear stock/wheel set. when they are gone that's when i will look for some (slickies) as well.stock Wheels/tires are snug in a rug in the shop! lol.

Well I dont have that much power but I will be upgrading the axles and suspension in the dear future. Im also getting some drag radials, so I can mount them and drive to the track... they are not as sticky as slicks. Only time will tell...I just wanna get out of the 1.9-2.0 60ft area...shooting for 1.8's at test and tune in march.

I would love to make it this weekend but I have no throttle body on the car so its napping right now, I should have it back soon .... its getting a VMAX ported

I was thing of going with the 17" or 18" setup, weld sells new drag wheels that fits over the SS brakes for like 400.00 each and the DR's for that rim is around 200 bucks each(I could be off on this) .... thats what im looking at going, I know the tires are cheaper than the 20" nittos
